Dunguaire Poetry Competition 2020

Open to all primary schools from 3rd - 6th class


What To Do

  1. Write a poem of no more than 30 lines using the theme 'There Will Be Time'
  2. Design art work to accompany the poem (poem and art on one sheet, maz size A4)
  3. Post to Education Manager, Shannon Heritage, Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, Bunratty, Co. Clare before 3rd April 2020.
Entries will go on display in Dunguaire Castle, Kinvara from the 8th of April 2020.
Winners will be announced on Monday 20th April with presentation of prizes taking place on National Poetry Day the 30th of April 2020.
